Dan “Danimal” Konopka (OK Go) sat down with Animal (Dr. Teeth and The Electric Mayhem) backstage at The Tonight Show on August 31, 2011.

OK Go were at the Burbank, CA studio to perform their version of “The Muppet Show Theme” that they recently recorded for The Green Album—a collection of Muppet favorites re-imagined and performed by contemporary artists.

Shortly after taping began, Dan managed to wrangle Animal’s wild attention for nearly three whole minutes to pose a few questions to the iconic rock drummer. A most rare interview.
